Roles and Responsibilities
As an Associate – Transaction Services, the selected candidate will:
- Use financial knowledge, including accounting standards such as GAAP, to assist clients with financial, operational, and tax issues associated with M&A transactions.
- Conduct and review research and analysis covering financial and accounting matters related to business transactions.
- Assist with quality of earnings and net working capital analyses for buy-side and sell-side deals.
- Participate in executive management interviews with target companies.
- Draft sections of reports, presentations, and other client-facing deliverables.
- Collaborate with project teams to manage workstreams and meet deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- CPA / CA / MBA Finance / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1–2 years of relevant transaction experience
- Experience analyzing quality of earnings (EBITDA), net working capital, and cash flows
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of formulas such as SUMIF, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, and INDEX/MATCH
- Strong analytical abilities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Ability to work in fast-paced and changing environments
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
