Medline is the hiring organization for this Associate Analyst – Distributed Pricing position.
The role involves managing and coordinating contracted and non-contracted pricing for Medline customers regarding branded products. The Associate Analyst will communicate with various parties on pricing-related matters, manage price change expectations related to contracts and non-contracted pricing, and cultivate day-to-day relationships with customers.
The position also involves acting as a liaison between vendors and sales representatives, including DSMs and PVAs, to communicate and correct pricing misalignments and help ensure customer satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams and the vendor community to manage customer distributed contracts and ensure pricing accuracy.
- Research issues, address inquiries, and provide necessary support resulting from contract operations.
- Manage pricing requests from initiation through completion and communicate results accordingly.
- Analyze, interpret, and determine the best course of action to resolve pricing-related issues.
- Confirm pricing eligibility with appropriate parties.
- Communicate relevant updates and trend observations to external and internal business partners.
- Maintain SAP, Zendesk, and other systems to provide visibility to requests and adhere to established procedures regarding documented backup for contract connections.
- Document and review key processes and SOPs with an eye toward improvement.
- Create, maintain, and develop relationships with customers, sales teams, and the vendor community.
- Coordinate meetings between sales and customers to ensure customer expectations are being met and timely action is taken to address pricing issues.
- Engage the vendor community when required.
- Perform weekly Price Change Notifications (PCN) audits to ensure accuracy and communicate changes to customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least 1 year of experience providing customer service to internal and/or external customers.
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills, including functions and tasks such as using SUM, setting borders and column widths, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers, and print scaling.
- Time management skills, including prioritizing, organizing, tracking details, and meeting deadlines across multiple projects with varying completion dates.
- Experience working through details of a problem, overcoming obstacles, and reaching a positive and successful solution.
- Experience presenting to and communicating with various audiences.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external resources.
- Excellent communication skills.
