Compliance Surveillance is a sub-function of the Global Compliance team. It undertakes activities including trade surveillance, trade monitoring, best-execution monitoring and cross-trade monitoring to identify irregularities by examining data, identifying trends and drawing conclusions from the information.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Understand Trade Surveillance and conduct daily reviews of Market Abuse alerts in the surveillance tool.
- Receive training to investigate irregularities and abnormal trading activities and escalate potential violations to relevant regional teams.
- Receive training in monitoring activities such as Best Execution and Fair Allocation.
- Gain hands-on experience with Order Management Systems including CRD, Aladdin and Bloomberg, including data extraction and analysis.
- Prepare documentation supporting reviews and demonstrating adequate processes and controls to meet applicable regulatory requirements.
- Assist with compliance-related projects, initiatives and ad-hoc requirements.
- Research daily tasks to identify automation opportunities, including analytical workflows that can improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members and management to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of surveillance and compliance processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Good knowledge of financial products and the mutual fund industry.
- Understanding of trading principles and fundamentals.
- Good analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for working with colleagues across different time zones.

Academic Requirements
- Master’s degree in Finance.
- No current backlogs.
- 60% or equivalent CGPA/CQPI throughout 10th, 12th or Diploma, and undergraduate course.
