- Monitor security events, alerts, and suspicious activities using SOC and SIEM monitoring tools.
- Analyze potential cybersecurity threats and identify unusual activities across networks, systems, and applications.
- Support security incident investigations, including initial analysis, documentation, and escalation of identified threats.
- Assist in identifying cyberattack patterns, techniques, and potential vulnerabilities using cybersecurity best practices.
- Work with security technologies, including firewalls, endpoint protection solutions, and malware analysis tools.
- Review security logs and correlate events to identify possible security incidents.
- Support incident management processes and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve security issues.
- Prepare incident reports, security documentation, and monitoring summaries.
- Follow established security policies, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to improve threat detection and security monitoring processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, cyberattack techniques, Cyber Kill Chain, and incident management practices.
- Knowledge of Security Operations Center (SOC) processes and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) technologies.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Splunk, IBM QRadar, ArcSight, RSA Envision, and LogRhythm.
- Understanding of Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of network security, network protocols, security devices, and multi-tier applications.
- Familiarity with firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, Check Point, Juniper, and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
- Knowledge of endpoint security, malware analysis, and Symantec Endpoint Protection.
