Gartner is hiring a Data Analyst for its Insights and Product Analytics organization. The IPA organization is responsible for the business performance of Gartner’s research products and performs analysis across Gartner’s Business and Technology Insights business unit.
The Retention Analytics and Applied IVR team within IPA uses analytics and AI advancements to identify paths toward higher client retention. The team works across content, interactions, conferences and other Gartner client-facing assets, while also supporting associate performance analytics and budget and financial analysis in partnership with the finance organization.

The Data Analyst will be responsible for:

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience involving data or business analytics.
- Data Science: Foundational understanding of data science concepts and their practical business applications.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a concentration in statistics, data science, mathematics, engineering, computer science or operations research.
- Technical Skills: Solid technical capability to analyze, interpret and visualize data effectively.
- Programming: Working knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python or R.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical reasoning and critical thinking skills, with a track record of using data to address business questions.
- Statistical Analysis: Ability to perform statistical analysis, identify trends and patterns, avoid bias and apply standard methodologies.
