Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor Azure Data Factory and Databricks pipelines/jobs, identify failures or delays, perform initial troubleshooting, and ensure daily workloads run successfully.
- Ensure business reports are generated and delivered accurately and on time while monitoring delivery SLAs.
- Proactively highlight potential report delivery delays.
- Manage production incidents, perform initial root-cause analysis, coordinate with relevant technical teams, and ensure timely resolution and closure.
- Communicate pipeline issues, incidents, report status, and delays clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, BI, and other teams.
- Follow operational procedures and maintain monitoring and incident documentation.
- Identify recurring issues and support automation and continuous improvements to BI platform operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, Data Operations, BI Operations, Production Support, or a related technical role.
- Technical knowledge relevant to the role.
- English language proficiency at least at B2 level.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory, SQL, and data engineering concepts.
- Basic understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts.
