Preferred Experience
- Strong understanding of cloud platform architecture, including networking and storage concepts, primarily in Microsoft Azure.
- Proficient in cloud administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to monitor cloud and infrastructure services for uptime and performance.
- Manage support tickets and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Respond to alerts, incidents, and escalate unresolved issues to L2 support as needed.
- Provide 24×7 shift support for cloud environments.
- Maintain knowledge base (KB) articles and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand, diagnose, and resolve first-level cloud issues.
- Escalate complex technical problems while tracking progress to closure.
- Handle incident, service request, and change management processes efficiently.
- Demonstrate strong customer service orientation, professionalism, and ownership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal and external clients.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of operational experience in a cloud or IT support environment.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
- Prior experience in a 24×7 cloud production support model.
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.
