Job Description:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of experience (or strong internship experience) in data engineering, big data, or data analytics
- 1+ years exposure to Spark, PySpark, or distributed data processing concepts
- Programming experience in Python and/or SQL
- Basic understanding of SQL, data modeling concepts, and data warehousing (Hive or Snowflake exposure is a plus)
- Exposure to ETL workflow tools (Airflow or similar) is a plus
- Exposure to BI tools such as Looker or PowerBI is a plus
- Exposure to version control (Git) and CI/CD concepts is a plus
- Familiarity with notebook environments (Jupyter or similar) is a plus
- Understanding or academic exposure to streaming or event-driven systems is a plus
- Strong learning mindset, problem-solving ability, and communication skills
