Roles and Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain client data (Legal Entities, Properties, Accounts/Parcels, Assets) as part of Entry Level Analyst responsibilities
- Review client information for completeness and data integrity
- Monitor current laws, trends, and techniques related to property tax requirements and property valuation to provide clients with the most legally advantageous position
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed on time and deadlines are consistently met
- Ability to maintain positive client relationships and ensure all client needs are addressed
- Research and consult with collectors and assessors on various property tax matters
- Research and process tax bills and property tax notices
- Ability to support the Lead in coordinating and prioritizing team assignments and deadlines
- Stay updated on property tax procedures by participating in training sessions and educational programs
- Prepare estimated property tax liability accruals for clients
- Initiate data requests (properties, accounts, assets) from clients and perform follow-ups
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Post Graduate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with co-workers and clients
- Working knowledge of personal computers and multiple software applications used in job functions, including intermediate MS Excel and MS Word
- Ability to collaborate with leads and other team members
- Demonstrated ability to gain technical expertise in the managed field
- Ability to solve problems and make informed decisions
- Flexibility to meet business and client expectations
- Strong organizational skills & attention to details
- Team-player with a customer-centric mindset suitable for a Tax Analyst Assistant function
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
