About the Role
As a Fraud Monitoring Analyst at Equifax, you’ll play a critical role in safeguarding consumer data. You will monitor, analyze, and investigate interactions to identify suspicious behavior or fraudulent access within Equifax systems. This position directly supports Equifax’s fraud prevention strategy and helps maintain the company’s trust, integrity, and data security standards.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor Equifax’s product transactions to detect fraudulent or unauthorized access.
- Review security monitoring systems and reports to identify potential threats.
- Investigate alerts and suspicious activities while meeting established SLAs.
- Develop detailed reports and recommend security improvements.
- Continuously evaluate and update security conditions to counter evolving threats.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in fraud detection, data analysis, or cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (advanced level).
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with large data sets.
- English proficiency (B2+/C1) – written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of fraud/security systems and data analysis tools.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Fraud Certifications: ACFE, IAFCI
- Knowledge of programming tools/languages
- Experience with G-Suite applications
