Roles and Responsibilities:
The Cloud Administrator will manage and support AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts and environments, including Production, Stage, and Development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day operations of AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts and environments.
- Handling incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EMR, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of cloud-based applications.
- Monitoring system health, utilization, and cost metrics using AWS-native tools such as CloudWatch and Cost Explorer.
- Performing operational activities including access management, resource optimization, patching coordination, and service requests.
- Collaborating with Engineering, Security, and Data teams to support secure and scalable cloud architectures.
- Supporting infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform modules and templates.
- Assisting with drift detection and remediation to maintain consistency between desired and actual cloud states.
- Contributing to automation of repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Working with CI/CD pipelines to enable infrastructure deployment and updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering with a record of high academic achievement.
- 1–3 years of experience in AWS and on-premise infrastructure security administration.
- Experience participating in MLPS and understanding related controls is a plus.
- Strong verbal, written, and team presentation communication skills.
- Ability to work within a global US and India team environment and contribute to the timely delivery of multiple projects.
- Fluency in English.
