Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare tax returns for the current year.
- Communicating with the clients and assisting them with various tax situations.
- Be aware of different tax situations under OBBBA.
- Preparing/ Reviewing complex tax returns
- Communicating with the clients based on their tax situation.
- Demonstrating the ability to thoroughly understand the tax client’s questions, conduct thorough research, and provide comprehensive responses.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of U.S. individual tax return preparation and/or review experience related to Form 1040 and all schedules 1-3 and attachments A-E.
- Experience with IRS transcripts, amended returns, and prior-year return identification.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. tax laws and individual tax concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual and collaborative environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to review and resolve routine and complex tax situations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.
- Ability to work in a diverse, team-oriented environment.
