They are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Command Center NOC L1 Engineer to join their 24×7 Network Operations team in the Command Centre. You will be responsible for 24/7 monitoring (as per the shift aligned), triage, and initial diagnosis of infrastructure, network, server, and application alerts, escalating unresolved or complex incidents to higher tiers. You must follow runbooks and SOPs, document actions thoroughly, and help protect service availability by filtering noise and prioritizing genuine incidents for rapid response.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Continuous monitoring of network, server, application, and cloud infrastructure using NMS and observability tools across the client portfolio.
- Triage and classification: validate alerts, determine severity/impact, correlate related events, and suppress noise to combat alert fatigue.
- Initial diagnosis: collect context (device state, logs, performance metrics, recent changes), perform first-level checks against runbooks, and determine next steps.
- Escalation: hand off unresolved or high-impact incidents to Tier 2 / on-call engineering with clear case notes, evidence, and reproduction steps within defined SLAs.
- Incident communication: post timely updates to stakeholders and clients and participate in Major Incident Management bridges as the operations point of contact.
- Change and maintenance support: execute scheduled activities per approved runbooks and validate successful completion.
- Documentation: maintain tickets, timelines, and shift handovers; contribute to runbook improvements, tuning requests, and knowledge base articles.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 0 – 2 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or Command Center environment.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing/switching fundamentals.
- Understanding of Windows Server (L1 level) including AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP; basic familiarity with Linux server environments.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, LogicMonitor).
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) at a monitoring and health-check level.
- Working knowledge of ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, ConnectWise) and ITIL incident, change, and problem management processes.
- Ability to analyze logs, performance data, and alert patterns to identify and respond to infrastructure incidents.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a high-pressure, 24×7 shift environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred Certifications: ITIL Foundation
