Job Role – Accountant I
As an Accountant I, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and month-end closing activities across regional entities. You’ll also manage general ledger reconciliations, internal invoicing, and compliance with international accounting standards such as US GAAP and SOX.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and execute month-end closing activities, including preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Prepare and maintain records for assigned general ledger accounts and journal entries.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements (U.S. GAAP, SOX, and local laws).
- Collaborate with internal teams during interim and year-end audits with both internal and external auditors.
- Record and analyze accounting transactions to maintain financial accuracy.
- Assist in setting up new GL accounts, ERP integrations, and identifying process improvements.
- Support internal GST invoicing and cross-charging activities for India entities.
- Contribute to financial analysis projects and support the finance team in routine operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 0–2 years in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger operations.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database management.
- Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and compliance frameworks preferred.
