About the Role: Associate Business Analyst
As an Associate Business Analyst, you’ll act as a vital link between clients and the development team, ensuring that business requirements are properly understood and translated into actionable solutions. This position offers exposure to Agile frameworks, business requirement gathering, process analysis, and project coordination across multiple business domains.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery.
- Conduct requirement gathering and business analysis through meetings, calls, and documentation.
- Analyze current (“as-is”) business processes and define future (“to-be”) workflows.
- Manage project scope to prevent scope creep and ensure agreed deliverables are achieved.
- Coordinate estimation processes with business analysts and developers.
- Prepare and maintain project metrics, process documentation, and business flow diagrams.
- Support development teams by clarifying functional and system requirements.
- Participate in integration, system, and regression testing to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and training materials.
- Collaborate with support and QA teams for smooth project delivery and transition.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in business analysis or related domains.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry tasks.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology and requirements elicitation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for client interaction.
- Experience working with US/UK-based customers is preferred.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills for preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specifications (FRS).
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work in EU/UK time zones.
Desirable Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to multiple business domains and data formats (XML, Flat files, JSON).
- Experience in logistics domain or EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) standards like X12.
- Ability to analyze and present findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
