Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Assist in maintenance and support of Enterprise Encryption Services protecting Data at Rest, Data Inflight, and Transaction Data.
- Collaborate with senior team members to evaluate system upgrades and encryption technologies.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance security and reduce risks.
- Document designs, installations, and O&M (Operations & Maintenance) guidelines.
- Support internal audit and compliance-related documentation.
- Maintain asset inventory for cryptographic infrastructure.
- Implement and troubleshoot Visa’s PKI infrastructure, HSM systems, and Key Management solutions.
- Manage certificate requests under defined SLAs.
- Resolve problem tickets and provide technical support to internal teams.
- Deploy, maintain, and support HSMs (Hardware Security Modules) and applied cryptography systems.
- Facilitate global programs such as Key Custodian and PKI Vetter.
- Work with FIPS 140-2 level 2+ certified HSMs and multiple database encryption technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate or Post Graduate in relevant discipline.
- Strong understanding of data encryption, PKI, and cryptographic security principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot encryption technologies, PKI, and HSM infrastructure.
- Good documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with database encryption and operating system-level encryption.
- Familiarity with FIPS-certified HSMs and key management systems.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under strict SLAs.
