Roles and Responsibilities:
As an Associate DevOps Engineer at United Airlines, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automation architecture for technology platforms.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and other DevOps tools.
- Troubleshooting and maintaining system reliability, security, and scalability.
- Collaborating with Business, Network, and Security teamsto meet requirements.
- Participating in Agile development cyclesand conducting code reviews.
- Introducing new technologies and best practicesto solve real-world business challenges.
- Supporting automation for infrastructure, version control, and cloud services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT-related field.
- 1+ year experience as an Automation/DevOps Engineeror similar role.
- Proficiency in Python & Bash scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD tools(Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of configuration management tools(NETCONF, RESTCONF, Netmiko).
- Familiarity with version control systems(Git/GitHub).
- Fluent in English (written & spoken).
- Must be legally authorized to work in India without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) toolssuch as Terraform & Ansible.
- Knowledge of automation platforms(e.g., OpenText’s Operation Orchestration).
- Strong problem-solving & communication skills.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and DevOps best practices.
