Roles and Responsibilities
As a Network Engineer at Tower Research Capital, you will:
- Collaborate with global networks teams to monitor and troubleshoot issues.
- Provide support for production, office, and end-user networking environments.
- Assist in implementing network changes such as moves, adds, and modifications.
- Participate in market connectivity testing and circuit migrations.
- Support data center operations, including infrastructure updates and migrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic experience in supporting and troubleshooting network environments.
- Understanding of client-server architecture.
- Familiarity with Arista EOS and Cisco NX-OS/IOS.
- Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MSDP, PIM).
- Exposure to VPN configuration and troubleshooting.
- Awareness of data center cabling and installation standards.
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux systems.
- Preferred: Exposure to multicast networking, Python scripting, and CCNA/CCNP certifications.
- Background in finance is a plus but not mandatory.
Additional Expectations
- Participate in on-call rotation for network support.
- Collaborate with vendors to maintain telecom circuits and data center infrastructure.
