Job Description
The Senior Analyst will be responsible for monitoring daily banking operations, managing incidents, and ensuring timely delivery of key financial services. This role plays a crucial part in payments processing, compliance monitoring, and risk control within Société Générale’s global operations network.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform daily checks and controls as outlined in standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure strict adherence to incident management processes and escalate issues promptly.
- Provide complete and accurate details for L2 investigations when required.
- Communicate with relevant back-office teams using verified contact lists to avoid errors.
- Report any network interruptions or operational instabilities to the line manager immediately.
- Identify and report abnormalities during transaction checks and involve the duty manager when needed.
- Respond to client emails within defined timelines and maintain SLA compliance.
- Maintain accuracy in validation and reporting activities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues swiftly and efficiently.
- Follow HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) protocols during technical interventions.
- Ensure all tasks are performed with precision, minimizing business impact and maintaining quality output.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (Postgraduate in Finance or related field preferred).
- Experience in Banking or Financial Operations is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Payments Monitoring and Incident Management Systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid banking environment.
- Knowledge of the French language will be an added advantage.
