Job Description
As a Cybersecurity – Risk & Compliance Analyst, you will support security governance functions, risk assessments, and compliance monitoring across multiple client environments. This role requires analytical thinking, strong documentation skills, and foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles. You will also collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to implement policies, strengthen internal controls, and improve the organization’s security posture.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Risk Management
- Conduct risk management activities for client projects of medium complexity
- Identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps across systems and processes
- Assess the impact and likelihood of identified risks, ensuring proper documentation
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and recommend control enhancements
- Engage domain experts or technical specialists when deeper analysis is required
- Monitor remediation progress and follow up on unresolved risks
- Support the development of risk reports, dashboards, and periodic updates for stakeholders
- Compliance Management
- Collect, review, and organize evidence for compliance audits and assessments
- Perform assessments as per predefined security testing strategies
- Examine records, logs, and configurations to ensure compliance with internal policies
- Identify abnormal occurrences or deviations and escalate them to relevant teams
- Support implementation of ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, PCI-DSS, or other GRC frameworks
- Maintain documentation, compliance trackers, and audit logs
- Assist with policy reviews, control testing, and internal assessments
- Additional Responsibilities
- Support vulnerability lifecycle management and periodic risk reviews
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures and internal control documents
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of compliance issues
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging threats, and evolving regulatory requirements
- Participate in training sessions to improve cybersecurity and GRC skills
- Enhance team performance by contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate / Post Graduate in relevant fields
- 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, GRC, Risk Management, or Compliance
- Strong understanding of GRC frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2
- Knowledge of vulnerability assessment, risk scoring, and mitigation practices
- Understanding of network security, cloud security basics, and access control models
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic security tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
