Roles and Responsibilities
- Utilize SIEM tools to monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents.
- Develop and maintain use cases, correlation rules, and alerts for threat detection engineering.
- Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend remediation.
- Implement signature-based detection, anomaly detection, and behavioral analysis.
- Collaborate with threat intelligence, incident response, and security engineering teams.
- Monitor the dark web for cyber threats, compromised data, and malicious activity.
- Analyze dark web intelligence to identify vulnerabilities and threat actors.
- Research new attack techniques and integrate findings into SOC use cases.
- Maintain incident response documentation, SOPs, and security playbooks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or IT.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms, log analysis, and cybersecurity analytics.
- Hands-on experience in creating detection rules and alerts.
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT\&CK, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001.
- Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or automation scripting is a plus.
- Experience with dark web monitoring tools and cyber threat intelligence.
