Roles and Responsibilities:
- Qualcomm is seeking energetic, creative, and self-driven engineers to work in
- Multimedia Technologies such as Audio and Video codecs, Image Processing
- Wireless Modem Technologies including 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and Self-Organizing Networks
- Platform-level software such as Linux, Android, Windows, and Board Support Packages
- IoT technologies for Connected Cameras, Smart Assistants, Drones, Virtual Reality, and Augmented Reality, supporting embedded software engineer roles
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Masters, Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering, Communication Engineering, or ECE
- Development of real-time embedded software and device drivers
- Mobile software development for Windows Mobile, Android, or Linux
- Good understanding of OS concepts and data structures
- C/C++ programming and object-oriented design
- Wireless network standards such as CDMA, GSM, UMTS, and LTE
- Linux/UNIX systems, Linux drivers, and Linux kernel development
- Protocols such as TCP/UDP/IP/SIP/RTP
- Multimedia technologies including audio, video, and imaging
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in teams
