About the Role
The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting client network infrastructures. As part of the systems engineering team, you’ll help build scalable, secure, and reliable network architectures that meet business goals and service-level agreements (SLAs). Roles and Responsibilities
- Configure and install network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, QoS).
- Perform network maintenance, system upgrades, and apply patches and security configurations.
- Monitor performance, ensure network reliability, and plan for capacity and scalability.
- Troubleshoot Level 2/3 network issues efficiently and document solutions.
- Follow established change management and configuration policies.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams for issue resolution.
- Work closely with the cybersecurity team to implement security tools, protocols, and policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven hands-on network engineering experience.
- CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
- Sound knowledge of OSI and TCP/IP models.
- Practical experience using network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
