Roles and Responsibilities
- Implementation
- Perform data mapping and transformation based on layouts and requirements shared by Business Analysts or Project Managers.
- Write efficient business logic in SQL or other languages for data conversion into product-ready formats.
- Conduct quality checks and testing on data loads and flag issues for review.
- Assist in spinning up product front-ends and maintaining documentation of testing results.
- Production & Operations
- Manage end-to-end data load processes and monitor feed performance.
- Generate custom reports as per business requirements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Support continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing system efficiency and scalability.
- The Data Engineering team plays a vital role in developing and maintaining large-scale healthcare data systems. You will write complex SQL queries, analyze business data, and participate in automation initiatives to streamline workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in ETL development, data warehousing, or data engineering roles.
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and procedural scripting.
- Hands-on knowledge of Azure, Databricks, Spark SQL, and Scala (Python is a plus).
- Familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL databases.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with healthcare or large-scale enterprise data systems preferred.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
