Job Role: Associate QA Engineer
As an Associate QA Engineer at Numerator, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring product quality by developing, executing, and automating test cases. You’ll collaborate with QA, Product, and Development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and execute test cases for web and software applications.
- Create, maintain, and optimize automation testing scripts using Python or Java.
- Perform manual and automated QA testing for ongoing and new software projects.
- Analyze test results, identify bugs, and track issues using defect management tools.
- Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks to ensure timely testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve defects effectively.
- Design, execute, and troubleshoot automation tests as part of CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles for automation framework design.
- Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure adherence to QA standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Experience: Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are eligible.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Automation & Manual Testing.
- Proficiency in Python or Core Java.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with RDBMS, SQL querying, and data validation.
- Experience with tools like Selenium, JMeter, Jenkins, or CircleCI is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and BDD frameworks preferred.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a remote team environment.
