Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from diverse sources.
- Create and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and transformation in large-scale environments.
- Build interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.Implement data modeling best practices for Power BI, ensuring accurate and performant analytics.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL workflows, resolving issues promptly to maintain data integrity.
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards across all processes.
- Perform performance tuning for ETL jobs and SQL queries to meet SLA requirements.
- Document ETL processes, data flows, and reporting logic for transparency and maintainability.
- Support production deployments and provide on-call assistance during the 2 PM–11 PM IST shift.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in SQL, including advanced joins, indexing, query optimization, and stored procedures.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques.
- Proficiency in ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or equivalent platforms.Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize ETL workflows for performance and reliability.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a 2 PM–11 PM IST shift.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, OneLake, Dataflows Gen2) is a strong plus.”
