Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve client support requests following standard procedures.
- Utilize network monitoring and service assurance tools to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Identify, prioritize, and escalate incidents based on defined protocols.
- Conduct proactive maintenance tasks and system performance checks.
- Maintain detailed incident records and ensure all support actions are logged accurately.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure network reliability and service continuity.
- Analyze service reports and recommend improvements to enhance service quality.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and assist with preventive measures.
- Ensure secure and up-to-date configurations for network components.
- Provide timely feedback and updates to clients through ticketing systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Foundational certifications in Networking technologies such as CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA, or F5.
- Basic understanding of routing, switching, SDI distribution, and network architecture.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Entry-level experience in remote technical support and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with vendor solutions such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, RiverBed, etc.
- Good analytical and logical reasoning abilities with attention to detail.
Additional Preferences
- Working knowledge of technical documentation and remote console architecture.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple client interactions.
- Team player with excellent coordination and organizational skills.
