Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor client networks and IT infrastructure to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Investigate and troubleshoot first-level technical incidents while adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide technical support via phone, ITSM tickets, and chat, ensuring timely response and issue resolution.
- Perform scheduled maintenance activities such as patching, configuration updates, and backups.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during shift handovers to maintain consistent service delivery.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization in service delivery and incident resolution.
- Participate in disaster recovery drills and contribute to project-based tasks when required.
- Maintain and update knowledge base documentation to improve issue resolution efficiency.
- Escalate unresolved incidents appropriately while ensuring service quality standards are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Nexus switches, routers, and Meraki systems.
- Familiarity with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Hands-on experience using ITSM tools for ticket management and workflow tracking.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong work ethic and adaptability to dynamic technical environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
