Roles and Responsibilities:
- Implement and own the CI and Manage CD tooling.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting.
- Build and maintain highly available production systems.
- Creation and enhancement of Continuous Deployment automation built on Docker and Kubernetes.
- Developing automation to ensure security across a geographically dispersed hosting environment.
- Creation and enhancement of dynamic monitoring and alerting solutions using industry leading services.
- Analytical and Technical Skills.
- Exposure to Windows and Linux Server OS.
- Basic understanding of Troubleshooting OS and hardware related issues.
- Basic knowledge of cloud computing and its usage.
- Understanding of building blocks of cloud computing.
- Understanding of virtualization, virtual machines, networks and storage.
- Basic Knowledge of Containers and Kubernetes.
- Basic understanding of IaC with terraform.
- Knowledge of DEVOPS with information on Microservices, CICD Build and Release pipelines
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6 months to 2 yrs of IT experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Analytics, related technical field.
- High proficiency in computer technology and programming languages
- Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure
- In-depth understanding of Terraform, CloudFormation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Preferred:
- Extensive knowledge on Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar is an added advantage
- Proficiency in computer technology and programming languages
- Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure
