Job Role – Associate Network Engineer
As an Associate Network Engineer, you’ll be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing enterprise network systems to ensure seamless connectivity across the organization. The role involves monitoring performance, troubleshooting network issues, and upgrading equipment to maintain high availability and security. You’ll work closely with technical teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and secure network solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement multiple firewall configurations and user request changes.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity or latency issues.
- Use enterprise tools to improve network performance and reliability.
- Perform regular software and firmware upgrades for network devices.
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and Meraki devices.
- Participate in technical meetings to design and deploy new solutions.
- Handle incident management calls and coordinate with internal teams for issue resolution.
- Communicate with customers via phone or email to address network support issues.
- Escalate unresolved problems to senior network engineers for advanced troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of network routing and switching concepts.
- Working knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and Nexus (7K, 5K, and VPC) environments.
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills in LAN/WAN technologies.
- Familiarity with Palo Alto Firewalls and Netscaler Load Balancers (preferred).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering.
- Experience: 1+ years of relevant network operations experience (Freshers with CCNA can apply).
Certifications:
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) preferred.
- ITIL certification is an added advantage.
