Netomi is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer I to collaborate with software teams, manage deployments, automate workloads, and maintain system reliability. The role includes monitoring infrastructure, streamlining workflows, and ensuring continuous system availability.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Kubernetes Management
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters efficiently.
- Configure RBAC policies and secure access control.
- Optimize Kubernetes cluster scalability and performance.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, Spinnaker, or similar tools.
- Automate deployments to improve delivery cycles and reduce errors.
- Helm Templates
- Develop, refine, and maintain Helm charts for Kubernetes environments.
- Ensure consistency, proper versioning, and reliability in Helm deployments.
- Service Mesh Implementation
- Integrate service meshes (Istio, Linkerd) for routing, load balancing, and secure connections.
- Implement observability, traffic control, and zero-trust communication patterns.
- Scripting & Automation
- Create automation scripts using Python, Ruby, or Golang.
- Use scripts for provisioning, monitoring, debugging, and system optimization.
- (Bonus) Chaos & Resilience Engineering
- Apply chaos engineering principles to test reliability.
- Simulate controlled failures to ensure system resilience in production environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in DevOps or relevant domain.
- Tools & Technologies
- Kubernetes (RBAC, administration, Helm)
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, ArgoCD, Spinnaker
- Service mesh tools: Istio, Linkerd
- Mandatory: Experience with Amazon ECS and Terraform
- Technical Skills
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, Ruby, Golang)
- Exposure to major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Solid understanding of networking, system design, and infrastructure operations
- Preferred / Bonus Skills
- Experience with chaos engineering tools: Chaos Monkey, LitmusChaos, Gremlin
