You’ll play a key role in supporting key risk management initiatives that strengthen the bank’s operational risk framework. This includes managing conduct, compliance, and supervision obligations across the first line of defence and working closely with teams responsible for regulatory adherence. The position also contributes to policy attestation and governance activities guided by enterprise regulatory compliance monitoring solutions, operational risk governance frameworks, and advanced financial risk assessment analytics.
You’ll also support the business in identifying, reporting, and mitigating risks while coordinating with the second line of defence to ensure efficient risk management within the bank’s risk appetite.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support management in facilitating stakeholder meetings, preparing documentation, and assessing regulatory impacts.
- Develop and analyse management information (MI) to support effective risk management.
- Build and maintain trusted partnerships across the bank to gather intelligence on emerging risks, controls, and compliance matters.
- Proactively implement updates to regulatory compliance and control procedures aligned with risk mitigation process automation.
- Advocate and support a culture of proactive and pre-emptive risk management, fostering continuous improvement.
- Analyse reporting and metrics that inform decision-making relating to the policy framework and roles/responsibility matrix.
- Manage governance processes to oversee the entire policy framework for FLOD.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Clear track record of achievement and delivery.
- Knowledge of risk assessment and scenario analysis methodologies.
- Knowledge of operational risk management, including financial risk control evaluation methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of EWRMF, including policy framework, MI, reporting, and data insights.
- Knowledge of SharePoint with the ability to make updates to the Policy Hub.
