Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute monthly policies and procedures monitoring to enhance and simplify internal processes; report analysis results
- Verify data queries embedded in tools used within Moody’s Ratings based on documentation and data characteristics
- Track and document verification activities; support business and data requirements documentation
- Perform data/process analyses, prepare presentations, and contribute to special projects as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline
- Minimum one year of working experience; financial industry experience is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of operational controls, business processes, and business analysis
- Proficiency in SQL query writing within relational databases (Sybase or SQL Server preferred)
- Experience with at least one statistical programming language: R, Python, etc.
- Key attributes: proactive, analytical, structured, detail-oriented, results-focused, strong communication skills
- Basic understanding of AI concepts with curiosity to explore how AI tools can enhance efficiency
