As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will help build and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers the development and deployment of software used by thousands of customers worldwide, with responsibilities comparable to a cloud analytics engineer role. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Terraform and at least one public cloud platform.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the management and maintenance of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure while enabling reliable infrastructure data analysis.
- Assist in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud services.
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with Kubernetes, Argo CD, Argo Workflows, and Helm to support deployment automation and orchestration.
- Write and maintain automation scripts; familiarity with Python is a plus.
- Monitor system health using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK) and apply principles of observability data analytics.
- Collaborate with senior DevOps engineers to troubleshoot issues and implement best practices.
- Communicate effectively in English with team members across India and Portugal.
- Work primarily in India Standard Time (IST) with overlap for coordination with the Portugal-based team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering (internship or project-based experience also considered).
- Hands-on exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (compute, networking, IAM).
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and GitLab pipelines.
- Knowledge of Linux fundamentals and system administration.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams in different time zones.
- Flexibility to work in India hours with some overlap with the Portugal-based team.
- Eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to Helm, Argo CD, or other deployment automation tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK) is a plus and supports platform data analytics.
