Roles and Responsibilities
As a Junior DevOps Engineer at Miratech, you will:
- Support the management and maintenance of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud-based services.
- Contribute to the design and optimization of CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
- Work with Kubernetes, Argo CD, Helm, and Argo Workflows for deployment automation.
- Write automation scripts (Python preferred) to streamline operations.
- Monitor system health using observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK.
- Collaborate with senior DevOps engineers to troubleshoot issues and implement best practices.
- Coordinate effectively with cross-border teams in India and Portugal.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Graduate / Post Graduate in Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering (internship/project experience also considered).
- Hands-on exposure to GCP services (compute, networking, IAM).
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and GitLab pipelines.
- Knowledge of Linux fundamentals and system administration.
- Excellent communication skills to work with global, cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to align working hours with IST and partial overlap with Portugal teams.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Helm, Argo CD, or deployment automation tools.
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
