They are seeking an entry-level Business Analyst to join their Data Products team to support all phases of the software development life cycle as part of business analyst jobs in Gurgaon. Individuals interested in this position must be capable of supporting the management of multiple projects across different stages of implementation. Initially, this role will focus on supporting the development and maintenance of Emerging Experience and Reference Data product lines, requiring close collaboration with clinicians, actuaries, technical resources, and clients in entry level business analyst roles. In addition, candidates should be self-starters with the ability to work independently as well as within a cross-functional team environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform activities supporting the systems development lifecycle including requirements definition, functional specifications, use case scenarios, test plans, documentation, training, and implementation as part of IT business analyst positions.
- Develop a strong understanding of healthcare data for purposes of modeling, mapping, and integrating information into a data warehouse.
- Collaborate with client and market advocates (such as product management and sales/marketing) to identify system and business objectives along with appropriate solutions.
- Train new users on system functionality and assist with change management for new releases, including developing test plans and testing new applications and maintenance releases.
- Establish, review, and validate actions and decisions related to system design and programming.
- Partner with technical teams to evaluate and ensure overall data integrity and reporting outcomes align with business needs and usage requirements.
- Provide timely responses to technical and business-related questions or issues, offering consultative guidance on the effective use of data to meet customer objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of prior relevant experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Pharmacy, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to analyze user requests, define requirements, develop project plans, and communicate conclusions.
- Ability to work creatively and flexibly, both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and structured work processes.
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills.
- Good organizational, and written and oral communications skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of Databricks, Python, SQL, and Large Language Models.
- Working knowledge of healthcare data.
- Working knowledge of standard clinical terminologies and coding systems.
- Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office products including exposure to data analytics business analyst roles.
