Roles and Responsibilities:
- Translate data & analytics into business insightsby working with global leaders and regional functional teams.
- Design workflow with models using AI and machine learning models.
- Enhance data collection procedures to include information relevant for advanced data analytics systemsand automation.
- Build workflows with advanced algorithms and models such as OCR, Translation, Generative AIetc. on data to extract or transform data.
- Identify, process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Achieve project goals by applying effective planning, organizing, and resource management.
- Continuously adopt industry best practices in data scienceto develop new capabilities for McCormick’s digital transformation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Analytics/Science, or related field.
- Proficiency in cleaning, visualizing, analyzing, and presenting insights from data sets.
- Ability to connect complex data analytics with real-world business applications.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain analytics.
- Coding experience in Python / R (preferred).
- Familiarity with Tableau / Data Visualization tools.
- Strong ability to build statistical & predictive models.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Cloud tools (Azure preferred).
- Knowledge of ERP system – SAP preferred.
- Understanding of Data Environments, Data Transformation, and ML Ops.
