Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development, delivery, maintenance or monitoring of IT security policies, standards, and best practices
- Implements risk management procedures, performs security threat assessments, manages user identities and access, and oversees compliance
- Identify, test, and report security weaknesses in systems and applications
- Oversees governance and compliance of vulnerability remediation enterprise wide
- Review firewall connectivity, change request
- Test and evaluate new technologies, report possible threats or software issues to management
- Analyze IT requirements and provide objective advice on the use of IT security requirements
- Analyze security systems and seek improvements on a continuous basis, CIS benchmarks
- Create/update team documentation, procedures and analytics
- Develop an understanding for security policies, regulatory compliance, and technical aptitude on complex technologies and strategies
All about You – Qualifications for Corporate Security Analyst:
- Four-year degree in a related field (or certifications and comparable experience)
- Exposure to security, including network and internet systems security
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to identify and understand security terminology, concepts, and practices
- Some experience in security software/tools like Remedy, Archer, Jira etc.
- Ability to prioritize projects and succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems as they arise
- Good to have understanding of security services (authentication, vulnerability management, access management, and/or log monitoring)
