Roles & Responsibilities

As part of the Global IT Support Team at Konecranes, your key responsibilities include:

  • Upholding company core values and IT code of conduct in all professional activities.
  • Managing IT requests via the IT ticketing system:
  • Classifying incoming requests and incidents.
  • Obtaining required approvals.
  • Assigning tickets to L2/L3 support teams.
  • Ensuring follow-up until resolution.
  • Performing technical analysis of new or complex incidents and service requests.
  • Collaborating with the team lead to build and update the knowledge base.
  • Managing incident severity, risks, and escalating as needed.
  • Supporting IT projects with assigned technical tasks.
  • Identifying recurring problem areas and suggesting improvements.
  • Assisting in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects or system changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a Windows IT environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OS, Networking, and Applications.
  • Familiarity with iOS, Android, Windows, and mobile operating systems.
  • Knowledge of SCCM and ITIL preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Ability to collaborate with international teams.
  • Awareness of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards (a plus).
