Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy GIS-based solutions using ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, Telvent ArcFM, ArcGIS Server, and related platforms.
- Work with ArcGIS Online, Web App Builder, and ArcGIS Mobile for application deployment and integration.
- Stay updated on the latest GIS industry trends and technologies.
- Create proof of concepts (POCs) and demo prototypes for client presentations.
- Design forms, workflows, and portlets with integration into existing systems.
- Support testing and issue resolution during and after deployment.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve functional issues.
- Be open to learning and adapting to emerging GIS technologies.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields (BE, BTech, MCA, MSc, etc.)
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in GIS development and deployment.
- Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, AGOL, web services, and Python scripting.
- Programming experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, and ArcGIS Mobile preferred.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality and collaboration.
Preferred Skills
- GIS Consultancy and technical expertise in ESRI product architecture.
- Experience with spatial data modeling and geo-processing automation.
- Knowledge of cloud-based GIS solutions is a plus.
