Roles and Responsibilities:
- Micro Services development and deployment into IKP
- Contribute to all stages of software development lifecycle
- Managing production releases and deployment.
- Adopt and follow the Agile and DevOps principles.
- Communicate effectively with various Business & IT teams. Collaborate effectively with global members to achieve desired outcomes.
- Write well designed, testable code, conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
- Should be open to learn new technologies based on project requirements.
- Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements.
- Should also perform Support related activities (i.e. Log monitoring, PROD deployments etc)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant work experience of min 2 years in JAVA SpringBoot Micro Service development.
- API- REST API Hands on
- Hands on SQL and its variation among popular databases.
- Hands-on experience on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Kubernetes Engine(GKE), Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
- Should be well versed and have real time experience on Junit, GITHUB, Maven, GITHands on experience or understanding on DevOps related Terraform, Groovy scripts and Jenkins CI/CD.
- Familiar with Internal Kubernetes Platform (IKP)
- Good communication skills and be a team player.
- Ability to prioritise and work independently within a diverse team environment.
- Well aware of HSBC change process raising CRs, CAB reviews etc
