Roles and Responsibilities
As part of the SAP HCM team, your role will include:
- Providing global HR system functional support.
- Assisting payroll users with production payroll processing and queries.
- Preparing detailed reports for technical/functional teams.
- Maintaining payroll manuals, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Supporting process/service improvement initiatives.
- Promoting standardization of payroll processes across regions.
- Troubleshooting and analyzing system integration issues.
- Supporting business-as-usual (BAU) activities and identifying risks.
- Offering weekend or shift support as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong English communication (spoken & written).
- Knowledge of SAP HCM Personnel Administration, Info types, and Payroll configuration.
- Experience with EC-Payroll calculation processes (retro, taxation, claims, schemas, PCRs).
- Hands-on support for SAP HCM/Payroll in a multi-country payroll environment (SuccessFactors EC, EC Payroll preferred).
- Understanding of EC–ECPY integration and replication error handling.
- Knowledge of SF EC Timesheet, Time Off, Integration Center, and ORD Reports.
- Payroll localization experience for regions like USA, UK, MENA, Mexico, HK, China.
- Familiarity with Splunk, Control-M scheduler, and monitoring tools.
- MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of data transmission, transformation, and file integrations.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis for escalated support cases.
