Role Summary
As a CloudOps Security Engineer, you will work with clients in the energy and utilities sector to design, deploy, and secure cloud infrastructure and distributed energy management systems (DERMS). The role combines technical expertise in cloud operations, security, and automation with strategic collaboration to support clean energy initiatives and grid modernization.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with utility clients to manage and optimize distributed energy resource systems (DERs).
- Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of GE Vernova GridOS DERMS cloud solutions.
- Contribute to developing solution diagrams and deployment architectures aligned with client requirements.
- Assist in deploying GridOS solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Document and design custom deployment requirements for client-specific scenarios.
- Work closely with Technical Leads and Project Managers to identify and mitigate delivery risks.
- Support cloud automation, DevOps integration, and infrastructure security across projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Experience: 2–5 years in enterprise software development, deployment, or integration.
- Strong development experience with Java, Microsoft .NET, or equivalent enterprise software platforms.
