They’re looking for a full-time Associate Security Analyst to join the Support team reporting to the Manager, Security Engineering. This role is a hybrid role based out of their Hyderabad, India location. The associate security analyst position is structured to offer exposure to a variety of security tasks that one should expect a junior security analyst to perform. The core focus involves actively monitoring security alerts and dashboards within the SIEM platform and are expected to promptly investigate, respond to, and remediate security alerts, gaining practical insights into the day-to-day operations of a security environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- SOC (Security Operations Center) monitoring, SIEM tool dashboard/reporting creation and monitoring
- Conduct initial analysis, assessing severity and depth of security alerts.
- Engage with various security controls to conduct comprehensive log reviews, including but not limited to EDR, Email Security, Firewall, WAF, IDS, and more.
- Operate security-related systems and applications such as endpoint protection, vulnerability assessment, cloud and others to maintain security control continuity.
- Perform Vulnerability scans and communicate vulnerability information to system owners or other individuals responsible for remediation.
- Perform cloud security related operations like CSPM
- Resolve security related Service Desk tickets and escalate as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year full time experience in information security.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Experience engaging with security controls to perform comprehensive log reviews across tools such as EDR, Email Security, Firewall, WAF, IDS, and related technologies is required.
- Trained or Certified in any one of industry recognized security related certifications.
- Experience in SOC.
- Minimum knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP is required.
Optional
- Strong understanding of networking, OS and Email Security
- Understanding of attack methodologies and mitigations
- Good communication skills to coordinate among various stakeholders of the organization.
- Knowledge on Threat Hunting, Threat Intelligence.
- Willing to learn, adopt and implement Information Security.
