Roles and Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in assigned accounting and month-end closing processes under US-GAAP as part of a finance and accounting associate role
- Perform accounting activities collaboratively with the team
- Reporting: provide daily and monthly reports and assist colleagues from the General Accounting team
- Perform month-end closings, general ledger account analysis, and balance sheet account reconciliations, and prepare SOX controls
- Maintain continuous communication with vendors and customers regarding fixed asset-related matters
- Assist in resolving any issues that may affect timely month-end closing
- And other tasks as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
- Confident user of MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge and experience using ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP is an advantage for an entry level accounting associate position
- Keen interest in building positive professional relationships
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to process changes, supporting an accounting associate finance role
