Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform all cost accounting activities as defined by company policies.
- Track and follow-up on key cost accounting metrics in line with corporate guidelines.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives through process improvements and pocket kaizens.
- Work with operations teams to analyze and resolve metric non-conformances.
- Post month-end journal entries related to accruals and reclassification in ERP.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs in line with updated processes and document them in DMS.
- Learn and serve as a backup for cost accountants when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic level knowledge of MS applications.
- Excellent oral & written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work as a team player.
- Willingness to learn and apply new skills in day-to-day finance operations.
- B.Com/BBA (Finance)/M.Com/MBA (Finance) Freshers or 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and ability to interpret accounting policies.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is an added advantage.
