Roles and Responsibilities
- Reconciliation & Reporting
- Perform daily financial reconciliations using specialist software and assist in the supervision of team members.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve reconciliation exceptions promptly.
- Ensure accuracy in financial data reporting and ledger postings.
- Collaborate with the UK-based team to manage workflows and meet deadlines.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Liaise with global stakeholders across UK, Dublin, Europe, and Asia to address and resolve exceptions.
- Post accounting entries not automatically generated by the system.
- Generate management and control reports, analyze data, and oversee team reporting activities.
- Operational Excellence
- Ensure daily targets and control checklists are completed on time.
- Identify potential risk areas and escalate them to team management.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance reconciliation efficiency.
- Participate in project or change management activities as required.
- Team Collaboration
- Support the training and development of new team members.
- Aid in issue resolution, manage the team mailbox, and monitor communications.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work extended hours or bank holidays when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in financial services or global operations.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to work with international teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to perform high-volume daily processing while maintaining accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Collaborative mindset with proven ability to work in a team-based environment.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Prior experience in reconciliation or financial analysis will be an added advantage.
