As an Analyst in the Credit Analysis team at First Citizens India, you will play a key role in ensuring the bank’s credit risk management standards are met and lending decisions are supported by robust financial insights. Roles and Responsibilities
- Credit Portfolio Monitoring: Continuously assess and monitor assigned credit portfolios to detect potential risks and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Reporting Tasks: Track and validate monthly/quarterly reporting packages received from U.S. counterparts for completeness and accuracy.
- Client Data Management: Upload new client details and manage modifications in line with Loan Security and Modification Agreements.
- Financial Spreading & Analysis: Analyze borrower financial statements in Moody’s CreditLens, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Covenant Monitoring: Ensure compliance with both financial and non-financial covenants and issue alerts for any potential breaches.
- Borrowing Base Calculations: Execute timely and accurate borrowing base calculations aligned with documentation and lending practices.
- Reporting & Insights: Prepare performance reports highlighting portfolio trends, emerging risks, and sectoral developments.
- Risk Identification: Flag early signs of credit deterioration or covenant breaches for proactive management.
- Collaboration: Partner with U.S. stakeholders across Credit and Risk Operations to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Suggest automation and efficiency enhancements in portfolio monitoring workflows.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain precision and adhere to all compliance and turnaround time metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in credit analysis, financial spreading, and portfolio monitoring.
- Strong understanding of corporate lending, credit documentation, and financial statement analysis.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modeling, and exposure to SQL / Power BI / Tableau preferred.
- Educational background: Bachelor’s in Commerce or MBA (Finance); CA / CFA qualification is a plus.
- Experience: 1–3 years in a bank, NBFC, or financial services firm.
- Familiarity with US GAAP, IFRS, and international accounting standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours (2 PM – 11 PM).
