- Senior Resident – Senior Resident is one who is doing his residency in the concerned department after obtaining Medical Postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB). The posts of Senior Resident are tenure positions not exceeding 3 years..
Age Limit:

- Senior Resident – The graduate must be below 45 years of age at the time of initial appointment
Salary:

- Senior Resident – Initial Pay in Level -11 with basic pay of Rs. 67,700/- plus other allowances as applicable under 7th CPC. Private practice of any kind will not be allowed
