As part of the Infrastructure Security Operations team, you will be responsible for strengthening the organization’s cybersecurity posture through advanced vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and compliance frameworks.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Vulnerability Management & Remediation
- Lead the detection, prioritization, and remediation of security vulnerabilities across enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure timely patching and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Enhance vulnerability management workflows using automation tools and best practices.
2. Endpoint Management & Security (Microsoft Intune)
- Configure and enforce endpoint security policies using Microsoft Intune.
- Manage encryption, device hardening, and access control policies.
- Support Microsoft Defender ATP and related endpoint protection tools.
3. Patch Management
- Design and implement automated patch management strategies for servers, desktops, and cloud environments.
- Ensure regular updates and remediation for critical security vulnerabilities.
4. Application Management & Control (ThreatLocker)
- Administer ThreatLocker for application whitelisting and control.
- Prevent unauthorized application usage through proactive monitoring and policy enforcement.
5. Security Incident Response & Compliance
- Act as a key escalation point for infrastructure-related incidents.
- Ensure alignment with ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC 2 compliance frameworks.
- Support audit readiness and reporting processes.
6. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with IT, Cloud, and Security teams to enhance infrastructure defense.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and defense techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or Telecommunications.
- 3+ years of experience in Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, or Endpoint Security.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and ThreatLocker.
- Strong understanding of patch management, EDR/XDR solutions (e.g., Microsoft Defender ATP, Palo Alto Prisma).
- Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and cloud security platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for security automation.
- Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and modern endpoint security frameworks.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Microsoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate.
